As much as possible, the short stories below are listed in story chronological order, the oldest (by date) at the top.

The Move – First posted on Carrie’s Blog on 7/6/12. This story tells about when Frank and Faye go to Frank’s parents to tell them they are moving to Crossing to start a logging business.

The Summer Promise – First posted on Carrie’s Blog on 6/22/12. This story is a brief glimpse into Peter, Andy and Brittany when they are young. It also mentions when Logan first sees Heather.

Thomas’ Decision – First posted on Carrie’s Blog on 8/17/2012. This expounds on Thomas’ statement on Crossing Values, page 133, where he says he met a deacon from his father-in-law’s church one night in a park.

Sassy’s Entrance – First posted on Carrie’s Blog on 5/21/12. This story expounds upon Faye’s comment in Crossing Values, page 80, where she tells Amber that Sassy was a Christmas present from Frank to Peter five years prior.

Missing Jamie - First posted on Carrie’s Blog on 6/8/12. This story is an expansion on a scene from Crossing Values, page 97, where the family is gathered at Frank and Faye’s for Christmas Eve.

Caring for the Trees – First posted on Carrie’s Blog on 8/3/12. This story has Peter telling Chad & Amy’s son, Joshua, how God directed man to care for the forest.

The Phone Call – First posted on Carrie’s Blog on 7/20/12. This is a phone call between Ryan and his best friend, David, after Ryan receives the letter from his Mom telling him they found his sister. It gives some insight on what happens between the end of Crossing Values and the start of Ryan’s Crossing.
