The Crossing Series

Book 1: Crossing Values

For years, Amber traipsed around the northwest avoiding the skeletons in her closet. As winter plants itself firmly across the Rockies, she takes a chance on a job at a logging company with a family different from any she’s ever known.

Watching the family interact creates more questions than answers for Amber. Feeling like she’s entered the happily-ever-after written at the end of fairytales, she watches for cracks in the façade. Surely as the days pass, the play-acting will cease and the real family will emerge.

Or could she be wrong? Could they truly be genuine?

WHAT READERS ARE SAYING:

I was needing a quick fiction read. I was needing a story that was encouraging but maybe stretched my faith some. This book did just that….Her characters are the most “Christian” characters I have ever read. These characters pray. These characters talk about their faith. These characters talk about God. They quote and refer to scripture. Sara, Amazon.com

At first I didn’t really want to believe in the characters’ goodness. Life had jaded me enough that I honestly had lost my hope in people really being able to interact and love as Crossing Values showed its readers. Then the more I read, the more I realized that that part of me still existed. There are people like these in the world. Crossing Values brought back hope. It gave me a soothing read that truly quieted my soul. dmwebb, Amazon.com

Book 2: Ryan’s Crossing

After ten years, Ryan’s parents found his runaway sister, Amber. Now, as he drives to meet up with her before her wedding, his mind fills with the changes coming. Besides figuring out where she will fit into his life, a job change is on the horizon for him. But should he stick with small town life? Or should he move to Portland, Oregon?

Meeting the family his sister is marrying into only brings more questions. Something about the town of Crossing calls to him. Is it the friendly people who openly accept him as Amber’s brother or the cute brunette who happens to be sister of the groom?

WHAT READERS ARE SAYING:

It was very easy to become engrossed in the story line and to look forward with anticipation to what was coming next.  In addition, the presence of Holy Spirit in the lives of the characters was obvious.  There was not one moment when I did not know that He was at work.  I definitely look forward to seeing what happens next in this series and will not hesitate to tell others that they simply MUST get these books. Jamee G, Virginia

This book was AWESOME! I started reading it one evening and absolutely couldn’t put it down until I finished it. The characters are funny, real, and totally believable. There is such a good message in this book…how God prods us into being more than we are.  Joanie B., Georgia

WHAT READERS ARE SAYING:

From the turn of the first page, I knew I was in for a treat, something I could relate to, family deployment, sick kids. Nothing could have prepared me for what was to come.  I related to the main character, felt her emotions, cried with her, got angry right alongside her.  The story, drew me closer to God as He reminded me that even through the most dire of circumstances, He will never abandon us.  This book gave me that hope from the very first page to the very last. A must read for anyone who ever questioned their faith. Tracy I., Alaska

I was immediately drawn into the story line due to its initial setting at Fort Bragg, NC & she did a wonderful job portraying some of the realities of life as a military family facing difficulties during a deployment…. While reading the book I would sometimes get that little tug on my heart that would make me reflect on my own life and the way I’ve handled difficult times or how I’ve been in my relationships with others. Other parts of the book got me wanting to look up scripture and I know that’s just leading me to draw closer to God in my own life. Candy S., North Carolina

COMING late 2013, Book 4: Crossing’s Redemption!

Amber Yager feels called by God to check in on Patricia. Yet as she spends time with her and discovers Patricia’s hidden past, she is drawn in to a group that brings disquiet to her own soul, ripping open old wounds.
