Carrie will be happy to come to your book club meeting to talk about her book, Crossing Values! For meetings in the Fayetteville, NC, area, Carrie will strive to make a personal appearance. Otherwise, she’ll be happy to call in to the meeting!

Overcoming Fear

Fear is a four letter word! And for years Carrie was consumed by it. Part of her story is how she finally had enough of the enemy’s lies and made the decision to stand on God’s promises. Just imagine if you stood up to your greatest fear!

Carrie Daws recently participated in a one day women’s conference at our church. She presented herself in a professional manner and shared her heart, life and insight with the ladies. Her gifts and testimony are being used by God in a mighty way to reach others for Christ. I would highly recommend Carrie for any women’s event. Fiction Writing for Teens

Do you have a group of students that love to write but need to learn some insider tips on writing better fiction? Is your group tired of grammar and  paragraph rules and you want to spice up writing for awhile? Maybe this is just the answer! Through this short course, Carrie works with teens to show them the purpose of fiction, how to create memorable characters, how to improve dialogue, and some general rules for fiction writing.

My daughter was blessed to attend a writing enrichment class taught by Carrie.  Carrie encouraged my daughter to create a story and develop the characters.  She also taught her useful grammatical tips and how to incorporate them into writings of fiction.  It is sometimes difficult for students to get their thoughts and ideas onto paper, but under Carrie’s tutelage, my daughter’s writing skills improved.  Rhonda A, North Carolina

If you want your child to be inspired to write and to learn how to do it correctly take a class with published author Carrie Daws. After one class my reluctant writer actually wanted to write! Carrie was gentle in her corrections to the class teaching the rules of writing but didn’t overwhelm them with information which allowed for creativity to flow. The girls came out of each class smiling and ready for more. After the last class my daughter said, “When can we do this again!?” Cheryl A, FishNet Homeschool Group Leader, North Carolina

Homeschooling

How do you get started in homeschooling? What’s important? What if I don’t have a “school” area? I don’t feel like I’m doing enough! All the fears and questions of newer homeschoolers can be wrangled back down to manageable levels as Carrie shares her insight from 10 years of homeschooling three children.

Carrie is an awesome source of information when just beginning your homeschooling journey or even just considering it. I have pointed friends to her when they have questions about homeschooling because she knows what she’s talking about and she’s easy to approach and talk to. She was very helpful in getting me started and if she didn’t have the answer to one of my many questions she was able to point me in the right direction. I really appreciate all the help and support I have received from her as I’ve started my own homeschooling journey with my kindergartner. Candy S, North Carolina
